I have had acne for 2 years since grade 7. (When I got my bangs) That's when it started. I have been trying to get rid of it, and it really brings my self-confidence down! Please help me, and give me tips of what facial cleanser I should switch to and a good skin care routine to get rid of my acne. I have really oily and acne-prone skin because of genetics. But, there must be some way to get rid of it! I am currently using: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Facial Wash, Scrub, and Toner. Clean & Clear Day and Night Moisturizer (Oil-Free) It makes my skin feel great, but it's not working! It takes about 2 weeks before a pimple goes away and between that time, a new one appears! So on the weekend I'm thinking of going to the drugstore and picking up the "Biore Ice Fighting Cleanser" I have been breaking out like CRAZY but it's not severe acne. Every second night, I use St. Ive's Apricot Scrub - Blemish and Blackhead clearing, I use clearasil cleansing pads every night and also to take off my make up and I use Clean & Clear morning burst and Spectro Jel every morning and I use oil free, medicated moisturizer after I cleanse everytime, and after I use the scrub as well. Okay my Mom is nothing like a skin care expert, in fact she uses none of that stuff (calls it superficial and such) but :P I want to take care of my skin and have no idea how! I've tried looking up like my skin type except I can't find one that really matches... I get very dry skin on my forehead Redness and a little acne across my cheekbones and nose Pretty bad acne on my chin I tried using the stuff my older sister used for acne (forget what it's called though) but it did nothing for me. She gets it bad everywhere. I've tried a couple products (Clean and Clear, Burt Bees Deep Cleansing cream) with no great results.
