Does Clinique 3 step skin care system really make acne disappear?

My acne isn't terrible, but I always have to wear foundation otherwise it is noticeable. It's the worst on my nose and forehead. Usually the skin on my nose and forehead is oily, but after using acne medication my skin can get really dry. My cheeks hardly ever get acne and are never oily. Lately I have been hearing really good things about Clinique 3 step skin care system. I was wondering if it really does work. Does it make you skin dry and red after using it? Are there any side effects? Does your acne really vanish? and is it worth the VERY expensive price?? If you have not had success with this product, what has worked for you? Thanks!!!! I am 18 years of and of Asian decent (Chinese). Ever since i was in middle school, i have been using drug store brands for moisturizers, cleasers, creams, etc (olay, dove, clearasil, and the list goes on) I have oily skin, and a bit of acne. it's not major - just a few bumps, and it gets worse when i get my period.. thats when i break out the most. I dont really have a specific problem area, the only place I dont get them is on my cheeks. I get pimples quite frequently though. i'm looking to redo my whole skin care routine with possibly a skin care system? I know there's pro-activ but i want to use that as a last resort as i heard 50/50 reviews on it. Which skin care system do you recommend? I was thinking of AcneFree or Clinique.
